I’m rating this 5 star when cost is considered. You can’t fairly compare this to a high end LED HDTVs ($1500+). I have the 55″ version. TV worked and looked great out of the box. I have it attached to my Home Theater PC (HTPC) and it works excellent as a giant monitor. I used it for Over the Air (OTA) HDTV and with my computer at 1080p. I upgraded from a DLP rear projection TV and the difference is amazing. Picture is bright, sharp, and smooth. I am very impressed with the image quality. I chose an LED HDTV due to the thin profile and low power consumption. I couldn’t do Plasma because of the burn-in issue. Sound is pretty week, but I only use it for OTA shows… most of my sounds goes through the HTPC speakers. I turned the treble way down and the bass way up, which I think improved the sound.

This television is beautiful! The 120Hz makes movies and TV shows look like they are in the room! You will be blown away by this television. The only downside is the lack of sound. I will be buying surround sound to supplement the televsion.
